Pratice Website
Quiz Craft Website (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

I built a website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. MyQuizCraft.com was a platform that allowed users to generate and take quizzes (currently down due to lack of domain ownership). The website featured a user-friendly interface where individuals could input quiz questions and answers, and navigate the site through various buttons.

Python
Python Snake Game

Used Python Code to create the game Snake (Snake is a classic video game genre where the player controls a snake that moves around a grid or screen. The primary objective is to consume food items, which causes the snake to grow longer. As the snake grows, the challenge increases, and the player must navigate carefully to avoid collisions with the walls and the snake's own body. The game typically ends if the snake collides with itself or the boundaries.)

Python Pong Game

Used Python Code to create the game Pong (Pong is a pioneering video game that marked the beginning of the arcade entertainment era in the early 1970s. The game simulates table tennis, featuring two paddles controlled by players to volley a ball back and forth across a screen. The original Pong, released by Atari, consists of two paddles and a ball, and the objective is to defeat the opponent by successfully hitting the ball past their paddle. Atari brought Pong into people's homes in 1975 with a home version, which contributed significantly to the origins of home video gaming.)

Python Encryption/Decryption Program

Used Python Code to create an Encryption/Decryption program that can create randomized passwords, Encrypt a password, and decrypt the password as needed.

(Encryption is the process of converting plain text, like passwords, into unreadable data using algorithms. It transforms sensitive information into ciphertext, making it challenging for unauthorized users to decipher. In the context of passwords, encryption ensures that even if the stored data is accessed, it appears as unintelligible characters.

Decryption is the reverse process, where encrypted data is transformed back into its original form. Access to decryption is typically controlled by an encryption key, ensuring that only authorized users can revert the information to its readable state.

This process is crucial for security as it protects confidential data, such as passwords, from unauthorized access, theft, and other security threats. Password encryption safeguards login credentials, preventing potential identity theft and ensuring the privacy and integrity of sensitive information).

C# Christmmas Quiz (simple)
C#

The provided C# code defines a Christmas quiz program. It starts by initializing lists of Christmas-related questions and answers. The program then pairs the questions and answers into tuples and shuffles the list. It proceeds to ask the user each question, prompting for input, and comparing the user's response to the correct answer. The user's input is split into words for comparison, and the program outputs whether the answer is correct or provides the correct answer if incorrect. The code includes a method to shuffle the list randomly and a function to get user input. The quiz covers various Christmas-themed questions, creating an interactive quiz experience for the user.

Tableau
Using Tableau to determine number of employee hours.

Used Tableau to create a chart that showed the average number of Clorox batches Formulated per month between May-Sep 2022. Using this data I was able to determine that it would only require about 10% of a full-time worker's hours each month and therefore a part-time worker would be sufficient.

Used Tableau to Make a Bar Chart of the top 10 Boston Marathon 2020 Runners

Looked up data for the Boston Marathon 2020 results. Used the top 10 female racer times to create an Excel spreadsheet. I imported this spreadsheet into Tableau and created a bar chart to show results.

Using Joins to identify Opportunity with SQL.

SQL

Using Mock data, tables were added to SQL, Joined together, and the top business locations identified as possible opportunities for company growth.

Using SQL to organize search data.

Used SQL to update column names, add data, sort and filter by day and month.

PH Adjustment Project

Excel

Microsoft Excel spreadsheets that made the time required for the PH process as much as 2.5 times faster.

Historical Data was pulled to measure the amount of PH adjustment chemical needed per mL to be within required range for multiple recipes. The spreadsheet is set up so that all the technician has to do is enter the lot volume in mL's and a highly reliable estimation is then generated. Using this estimation the Technician now knows about how much they will need and saves them time trying to figure out the amount needed through multiple samples of incremental  adjustments.

Overhauled spreadsheets used to track production rates to capture up to 40% more data while improving accuracy and removing redundancies. (note that actual task names have been replaced)

Data is tracked overtime and used to predict future workflow requirements. Data is also analyzed to find new methods for improving production rates.

Snapshot and Production Tracker

Data comparison by shift and task hours.

Using data from the above project Snapshot and Production tracker, shift and task comparisons were made to better understand if the time requirements for each task lined up with expected results or if some tasks resulted in inflated numbers.
